How to use Image Converter

  1. Select a supported image file from your device.
  2. Choose WebP, PNG or JPEG as the output format.
  3. Adjust quality when exporting a lossy JPEG or WebP image.
  4. Select Process Image and download the converted copy.

One image. The format you need.

Use WebP for modern web delivery, PNG when lossless pixels and transparency matter, or JPEG for broadly compatible photographs. The converter keeps the source dimensions. It uses the browser’s image decoder, so accepted input formats depend on your browser.

JPEG has no transparency; this converter fills transparent areas with white for JPEG exports. Canvas conversion can discard metadata, color profile information and animation.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A little more clarity.

Which output formats are available?

The converter offers WebP, PNG and JPEG. Output support depends on your browser’s canvas encoder.

Will animated images stay animated?

No. This tool exports a single still frame. Keep your source file if you need to preserve animation.

Does PNG quality change with the slider?

PNG is lossless, so the quality slider does not control PNG compression in the same way it controls lossy JPEG and WebP.
