Escapes HTML special characters. Use tags only when they accurately describe the page. Social images and platform-specific settings need separate markup.

SIMPLE BY DESIGN

How to use Meta Tag Generator

  1. Write a title and description that reflect the page’s visible content.
  2. Enter the full canonical HTTP or HTTPS URL.
  3. Generate and review the markup, then apply it through your website’s supported metadata system.

Draft page metadata with escaped attribute values.

Enter a page-specific title, a concise description and the public canonical URL. The generator escapes HTML-sensitive characters and produces a title element, description, canonical link and basic Open Graph tags. Review the output in the context of your framework or CMS, which may provide its own metadata API. The utility does not inspect the destination page, confirm indexability or write tags to your website.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A little more clarity.

Does this change the metadata on my website?

No. It generates text for you to review and implement. It does not fetch or modify the destination URL.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. This utility processes your input in your browser. URLs you paste are treated as data; the tool does not fetch them. Be careful with clipboard history on shared devices.
