A quick check before you publish.

Words are separated by whitespace, characters use JavaScript string length, and sentence estimates count groups of periods, exclamation marks and question marks. Reading time is estimated at 200 words per minute.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
A little more clarity.
Does the character count include spaces?
Yes. Spaces, punctuation and line breaks are included in the JavaScript string length. Some emoji use multiple character units.
How is reading time estimated?
The tool divides the whitespace-separated word count by 200 and rounds up, with a minimum displayed estimate of one minute.
Will a longer article rank higher?
Word count alone does not determine ranking. Write enough original, accurate content to answer the reader’s question clearly.
